Conservation
Intrinsically tied to the Foundation’s work is the spectacular environment in which it rests. Therefore, the Brett Torino Foundation is committed to supporting the conservation and preservation of Lovell Canyon by providing an ecological sanctuary for the surrounding Toiyabe Forest animals, removing debris dumped in Lovell Canyon, and partnering with government entities for protective legislation and programs.
Education
The Brett Torino Foundation Education Services together with Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, has developed a number of education services designed to meet the educational needs of every child diagnosed with cancer in Southern Nevada. The program provides a way for chronically-ill children to continue their education even if they are too ill to attend school.
Sanctuary
The Brett Torino Foundation funds and executes summer camps and education programs for critically or chronically ill children, and those with special needs. Through preserving and sharing the natural environment of its home location, Lovell Canyon in the Toiyabe National Forest, the foundation offers once-in-a-lifetime experiences that bring profound joy, connection and enlightenment to those in need.
Meet Brett Torino
Brett Torino, a developer, entrepreneur and lifelong philanthropist created the Brett Torino Foundation more than twenty years ago after spending millions of dollars and dozens of years building his outdoor sanctuary, Torino Ranch. His desire to share nature’s majesty with those in need became a passion that developed events, programs and educational opportunities for critically ill or special needs children.

Join us, alongside Save Red Rock and our community friends, as we come together to remove litter from Lovell Canyon on Saturday, April 20, from 10 am to 2 pm. (Please ensure your arrival by noon, and feel free to depart whenever convenient).

Earth Day is an annual event on April 22nd, dedicated to demonstrating support for environmental protection. First established in 1970, it now engages over 1 billion people in more than 193 countries, coordinated globally by Earthday.org. The official theme for 2024 is "Planet vs. Plastics."
At the heart of the Brett Torino Foundation lies the commitment to conserve precious lands like Lovell Canyon, nestled in the Spring Valley Mountain range just West of Las Vegas, NV. Through initiatives like the "Save Lovell Canyon" project launched in 2017, the canyon has become a haven for campers, hikers, bicyclists, and nature enthusiasts.
This April, we`re extending the celebration of Earth Day throughout the month, and we want YOU to join us! 🎉 Let`s show our planet some love by sharing ways we can make a difference and reduce our carbon footprint. 🌱
